WHERE ARE YOU BASED? AND DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH INTERNATIONAL WEDDINGS?
We split our time between Melbourne and Adelaide, Australia and yes we travel internationally to photograph weddings! For more information and destination packages, head over to this page. We might even be passing through your wedding location near to your date. In May 2017 we will be shooting in and around New Zealand.
CAN I MEET YOU?
Of course! Depending on where we are, we can meet you on skype or for a coffee and a chat in person.
WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR WEDDING PACKAGE PRICES:
We list all our packages prices on our website, have a look at our packages page for more information.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?
We’ll capture your day as it unfolds naturally but in an unobtrusive way so we blend in. We capture all those lovely candid shots and in-between moments that tell the story of your wedding day. We can give you as much guidance as you need so you don’t have to even think about what to do. For us, capturing beautiful, honest and real moments is so important, but so is having a incredible time on your wedding day. We always work with how our clients are feeling to make sure both the images are beautiful, and the experience is easy going and fun.
CAN I PENCIL IN/TENTATIVELY HOLD MY WEDDING DATE?
Unfortunately no, we work on a first in, first served basis. Your date will only be secured once the contract has been completed and signed, and the deposit has been paid. What we can do is put a note down for your date and get in touch if we receive another enquiry for that date before have committed to the booking.
WILL WE RECEIVE HIGH RESOLUTION FILES OF ALL OUR IMAGES?
Yes definitely. We deliver both high resolution resolution files and smaller ‘web sized’ files of your wedding images on USB. You also will receive an online gallery that will last for 1 year.
ARE THEY WATERMARKED?
No, we never watermark our images.
CAN YOU HELP ME WITH MY WEDDING DAY TIMELINE?
We would love to. We have worked on over 50 weddings and have a few different ideas on how to schedule the timings of the day depending on your ceremony time, sunset and travel time between locations. Just shoot us and email and we will be happy to help.
WHEN WE WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS AFTER THE WEDDING?
On average 4-6 weeks, and sometimes even sooner if we’re not in peak season!
DO I NEED TO ARRANGE MEALS FOR YOU BOTH?
We don’t demand that you feed us, however we greatly appreciate a meal at the reception at a similar time to the guests eating. Always good to have fuel to keep on photographing and it helps us to concentrate throughout the night.
Claire’s diet can be tricky, she is vegetarian and dairy intolerant. Whereas Martin is easy and always happy to have anything! 🙂
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Living in Melbourne we’re used to having to deal with a shower or two. It’s important to not worry and embrace the conditions on the day. We can shoot with clear or white umbrella’s (we usually bring a few of these with us on the day just in case). We can duck in and out of the cover of tree’s or find a cafe to grab a drink until it passes. Most venues have areas indoor where we can get creative if the weather isn’t behaving.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET SICK?
Neither of us have ever missed a wedding due to illness or any other reason. We’re prepared to shoot under any circumstances, and take precaution measures before weddings to ensure our health (vitamins and hand sanitiser during flu season, no eating take-out the night before a wedding). In the almost impossible event of us being too ill, we work closely with a network of great photographers in both Melbourne and Adelaide who would help us out in an instant.
DO YOU BACK UP YOUR IMAGES?
Yes. We back up every wedding three times, on three different hard drives and while travelling we take a copy with us!
HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH PER YEAR?
We photograph between 15-20 weddings per season to ensure we can give our couples a personal and attentive experience. We want to get to know you and have the time to be available throughout the year when you need us.
