Steph and Lachlan’s wedding at the Collingwood Children’s Farm was pure magic. The couple chose to get ready separately with each of their friends, and come together before the ceremony for a heartfelt first-look. The perfect way to calm any pre-wedding jitters and allowing us to photograph the bulk of their wedding portraits pre-ceremony. Steph and Lachlan wanted their day to be carefree, fun and centered around spending time with the people they love most.
On a warm and balmy summers day, they exchanged their vows under the shade of a sprawling tree surrounded by their friends and family. The genuine smiles on their faces were contagious, creating an ambiance that made it impossible not to feel the love in the air.
Happy squeaks and squawks could be heard from the farm animals as we wandered the ground taking a few more relaxed and natural portraits together. Often followed by the majestic resident peacock who was trying to photo-bomb at every opportunity.
Following the ceremony, the festivities continued under a beautifully adorned marquee, giving the guests a chance to bask in the warmth of the summer evening. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the stars emerged, casting a soft, romantic light upon the reception. The atmosphere was electric, and laughter filled the air as guests danced the night away!
