Get ready for a colour explosion! Liz and Josh’s wedding was so filled with joy, it was an absolute pleasure getting to witness the love between these two beautiful people! They chose the super cool venue The Craft & Co in the heart of Collingwood – a distillery warehouse venue with gorgeous light and a modern industrial feel. The Craft & Co is one of Melbourne’s hidden gems, where you can host both your indoor ceremony and reception in the one venue. Plus the surrounding streets of Collingwood and Fitzroy have some of the best urban backdrops for wedding photography, and as you will see here we certainly made the most of them with Liz and Josh!

We started off the day with arriving at Liz’s family home to capture her getting ready with her bridesmaids and family (and their gorgeous cat too!). Before setting off for the Carlton Gardens where we had arranged a first look between the two of them. First looks are a fantastic way to have a really special moment together before the ceremony, they help to ease any pre-ceremony jitters. Plus they allow for us to photograph the bridal portraits earlier in the day and save the time after the ceremony for mingling with your guests! Liz and Josh chose for their family to come along to the gardens too, and they all watched on from a distance for the special moment where Josh was brought to tears upon seeing gorgeous Liz.

We wandered the nearby funky streets of Fitzroy taking photos with their hilarious bridal party, eventually making our way on foot to The Craft & Co to cool off from the summer heat before guests began arriving for their afternoon ceremony. From here we documented every loving moment of their ceremony through to their super fun cocktail reception. And then sneaking off at sunset for some loved-up portraits in the dwindling daylight. It was a wildly fun and joyful day, thank you for having us Liz and Josh!
