We only spent four short but sweet hours documenting the wedding of Jen and Joe, but my goodness those hours were packed full of fun, laughter and love. Their vision for their day was to have a relaxed and super fun wedding, with their main priority to celebrate their love among the company of their closest friends and family. They chose the ultimate unique venue that matched this vibe perfectly. Farm Viagno is one of our all time favourite wedding venues to photograph in Melbourne. Tucked away in the suburbs of South Morang, Farm Vigano looks as if it has been plucked right from the countryside of Italy. A former private estate with a terrace overlooking stunning views, plus they even have their own private orchard too!

We arrived just before the start of the ceremony, to a buzz of excitement and anticipation awaiting Jen’s arrival. Joe was waiting patiently for his Bride in the warm afternoon heat. A quiet lull settled across the crowd as we spotted Jen descend the large outdoor staircase and made her way slowly down the aisle. Their ceremony was filled with love and emotion, sharing heartfelt vows that had everyone moved to tears. Cue the most epic flower petal exit! I could barely keep my eyes on those two as they were quite literally showered with love.

We snuck away from the group for twenty minutes of couple portraits. The amazing thing about Farm Vigano is that if you walk mere metres away from the ceremony you’ll find yourself in the gorgeous orchard. These two popped champagne and soaked in that loved-up just married feels. Jen and Joe wanted to spend the most time possible being present at their wedding with their guests, so after a short stroll through the grounds for photos, they climbed the steps to join the party up on the terrace.

Farm Vigano sure know how to feed people! Their antipasto grazing table was mind blowing. The relaxed and laidback energy for the cocktail style reception was just perfect for the setting. Afternoon flowed into evening, from the emotional and hilarious speeches, to the delicious macaroons and cannoli for dessert. And then the party really started, with the arrival of SEGA the Mauritian live musicians and dancers to take the party to the next level!
