If you’re a lover of a good vineyard wedding and have a soft spot for pooches, you’re going to love Rhiannon and Taite’s summertime love story.

On a warm December day, just shy of New Years Eve, Rhiannon was getting ready at her mothers home for what would be one of the most special days of her life. At the very same time, Taite was just a few suburbs over at their own home, alongside his two brothers, mum and dad. We made our way between the two in the morning, photographing makeup being applied, dresses and suit’s donned, and the cutest little tie being put on their fur baby.

Their ceremony and reception was held at the stunning Paxton Winery Wedding venue – think beautifully lush open grass, overgrown vineyards (in the best kind of way), little sandstone cottages and a gorgeous light-filled reception room. The ceremony was setup on the grass overlooking the amazing view, and when Rhiannon arrived, Taite was waiting amongst a puddle of rose petals. It was definitely one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve been to witness.

For our portrait session, we were spoilt for choice with photo locations at Paxton. From the sprawling vineyard, to the beautiful old walls of the cottage. We wandered the ground together, laughing, stopping for sips of champaign and enjoying their first moment as Husband and Wife.

On to the reception, one that started as a beautiful, sunlit celebration and into the night, where it became a wild party! Seriously, this one was off the hook. After delicious food was shared, the speeches began with Taite’s two cheeky brothers stealing the show. And then onto a tradition, a huge paddle board of shots was brought out, and each bridal party member stood in front and took a shot together! Their desert table and donut wall was now open (seriously, look how delicious it was!!), and the guests spilled out onto the grass for lawn games and drinking with the sunset. When the dance floor opened it was a whole new vibe, the party ramped up to level 100, and it was probably the most fun I’ve ever had on a dance floor!
